Question
Although Hajj was Fardh on my deceased father, he did not make wasiyyat for Hajj-e- Badal to be performed. If I want to perform Hajj on his behalf, what will be the status of the Hajj and of my father?
Answer
You may perform Hajj with your own money for your deceased father. Supplicate to Allah Ta'ala to forgive your father, and hope that your Hajj will be accepted by Allah Ta'ala in lieu of your father's
