In Ramadhaan, should Hanafis follow the Shaafi‟ Imaam in Witr?
Answer
While Hanafis can and do follow Shaafi Imaams in Fardh, they should not follow in Witr. For Shaafis Witr is Sunnat while for Hanafis it is Waajib. Shaafis also perform 2 raka‟ts and one raka‟t separately.
