Question
Is it permissible for the munfarid to recite the qiraa‟t silently in Fajr, Maghrib and Isha‟? Also, what is the ruling pertaining to the Takbeers of these three Salaat?
Answer
The munfarid (the one who performs Salaat alone) has the choice of reciting the qiraa't audibly or silently in these three Salaat. However, he may not recite the Takbeers and the Tasmee' audibly.
