Can we use leather products made from the skins of cattle which have died naturally or which were not slaughtered according to the Shariah?

Animals which die naturally or by any means other than Thabah (slaughter)

are Maitah (carrion). However, their skins become taahir/ paak' clean after treatment, hence the leather products are halaal. However, the skins of pigs remain haraam.
