Question
My family has dual citizenship. Due to the increasing crime in this country, is it advisable to move to the other country where we could open a business?
Answer
The crime, the fitnah and fasaad are the consequences of our sins. Encourage your family to become obedient to Allah Ta'ala. Taa-at and Ibaadat are the solution for the fitnah and fasaad. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
"Whatever is by Allah is obtainable by means of Taa-at (Obedience)."
Aafiyat (Safety, peace and protection) are the bounties of Allah Ta'ala whereas fitnah and fasaad are among His Chastisement. No one can flee from the Athaab of Allah Azza Wa Jal. With Obedience will come aafiyat.
