Answer
He is a confirmed kaafir. His claim of believing in the Qur'aan is blatantly baatil (false). The one who rejects the Hadith of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) is a kaafir, munaafiq and murtad. In reality he rejects Allah Ta'ala and the Qur'aan.
