Question
On the 9th Zil Hajj, some people perform Zuhr and Asr Salaat, combined, in their tents. Is this permissible?
Answer
The two Salaat are joined only if performed in the Musjid behind the Imaam. Joining Salaat in the tents as is done by some South Africans is not valid. If unable to perform in the Musjid, then perform each Salaat separately in its proper time.
