What should I do? My parents are forcing me to learn to drive. Although I explained that it is not permissible for females to drive, they persist and say that for times of emergency driving is necessary.
Answer
Your parents are astray. There is no such thing as parents „forcing‟ their daughter to drive. Simply refuse and let them shout and revile you. But be firm in following the Shariah. The issue of „emergency‟ is a shaitaani stunt and trap.
