If there happens to be an eclipse of the sun in some places, but not in one's town/ city can we still perform Salaatul Kusoof? New York will not be experiencing the eclipse.
Answer
Without the solar eclipse in New York, it will be bid‟ah to perform Salaatul Kusoof. It is not permissible.
