I am employed in another city where I spend the greater part of the year. If I travel to a town from my workplace and stay in that town for a day or two, what is the rule on returning to my workplace?
Answer
The city where you are employed is termed Watn-e- Iqaamat. On returning to Watn -e-Iqaamat if the intention is to stay 15 days or more, then you have to perform Salaat in full. If the intention is to stay less than 15 days, then perform Qasr (2 raka‟ts Fardh).
