The trustees of a Musjid near to King Shaka Airport are intending to construct a minaret at a cost of R500,000 to make the Musjid visible to traveller

Most certainly it does not. In the current situation of suffering prevalent in the Ummah, it is a gross haraam waste to squander half a million rands constructing the minaret. There is no imperative need for such an expensive minaret. The money should be diverted to the suffering Ummah.
