A man gave a property to his friend for staying in it for his entire life. But on his death the property reverts to the owner. What is the status of this gift?
Answer
The gift is valid. The condition of it reverting to him is invalid. On the death of the one to whom it was given, the property will belong to his heirs, not to the one who had gifted the property.
