Question
Nowadays fathers bring their small children to the Musjid. The children, even four year olds, stand in the saffs of the adults. Is this permissible?
Answer
Most certainly it is not permissible. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Keep your children and your mad people away from your Musaajid." However, since the adults themselves are somewhat mad, they are not concerned with the prohibition stated by Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam).
