Is the imamate of a transgender valid?
Answer
We do not know what you mean by „transgender‟. If the person is classified as a male in terms of the Shariah, then his imamate is valid. If he is classified female, her imamate will not be valid. If the person‟s gender is indeterminate, the imamate of this person will not be valid.
