I agree that universities are evil and ruin the Imaan and morality of Muslim females. However, the community requires female doctors. A pious Muslim man‟s ghairah does not tolerate a male doctor to examine his wife. On this basis will it not be permissible for Muslim females to become doctors?
Answer
There are many non- Muslim female doctors available. A Muslim woman may not compromise and eliminate her haya, akhlaaq and Imaan for the ghairah (honour) of another man. His ghairah is not her problem. Her problem is to safeguard her own Imaan and Akhlaaq. For the sake of another man's ghairah, Muslim females may not cast themselves into the Fire.
