Question

A Musjid which is in existence for 40 years has a borehole which feeds the musjid water. The adjacent property to the Musjid was sold and after demarcation of boundaries it was seen that the borehole is inside the perimeter of the next door property, not in the musjid property. The Trustees of the Musjid are claiming that the borehole is Waqf so it belongs to musjid. The new owner says otherwise. He is not stopping the Musjid from water usage. But clarity of this ownership will be highly appreciated as to avoid misunderstandings?
