Is it permissible to make Salaam to a bid‟ati, one who practices meelaad and the like?
Answer
Today there is massive ignorance among Muslims. Many bid'atis are sincere. They follow their molvis and genuinely believe in the correctness of their practices. Therefore, respond to the Salaam of even a bid'ati.
