Are pilates permissible?

Question

Are pilates permissible? Pilates allegedly promotes mindfulness and body awareness. This exercise is explained as follows: "Pilates is a type of strength training exercise that encourages you to identify and work within the limits of your body," explains Wonesh. "There's also an inherent mindfulness to it and a lot of breath work, which can help relieve tension and stress." "Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being. Similar to Yoga, Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility." Please comment.

Answer

Pilates and all similar exercises are forbidden. Exercises in which the „mind‟ features almost always become contaminated with shaitaani intervention. Shaitaan manipulates every conceivable opportunity to inject kufr into the mind via these mind-exercises.
