In a life and death situation, are kidney donation and kidney transplant permissible? All his organs are failing.
Answer
It is not at all permissible. The kidney ailment may be the sabab-e-zaahiri (the ostensible cause) for his Maut, hence all organs are gradually failing. It is never permissible for a person to mutilate himself/herself with organ donation. They just have to resign to the decree of Allah Ta‟ala. Maut is decreed for everyone with precision.
