If a Buzrug enters the Musjid, should one stand to make Salaam to him?
Answer
No one, even a Buzrug, should be greeted inside the Musjid. Greet outside the Musjid. The Musjid is not a place for greeting and conversation. Even Ulama miserably fail to observe the Aadaab of the Musjid. They indulge in exchanging niceties and even worldly talk in the Musjid. This is haraam.
