The government in U.S.A. has issued me with food cards which enable me to obtain free foodstuff. Is it permissible to sell these cards to someone who will receive the food?
Answer
The money for the cards is not halaal. It is like haraam riba. If you have no use for the cards, give them to someone in need without charge.
