Question
When a baby is born, should the Athaan and Iqaamah be delayed until a pious Aalim comes or should the father recite it in the baby's ears?
Answer
It is better for the father to recite the Azaan in the baby's ears. It should not be delayed for an Aalim or a Buzrug.
