Hair hot irons and hot hairbrushes are used to brush and straighten the hair. They are used in a similar way as a hairbrush but neaten the hair more than a ordinary brush and straighten any waves or kinks. It doesn't have a permanent effect at all e.g.. It has to be brushed again the next day or during the day. Is the usage of such a brush or iron permissible?
Answer
It is not permissible to use these devices of Iblees. A person should be satisfied with the type of hair which Allah Ta'ala has created for him/her.
