It is not permissible to perform the Sunnah Muakkadah Salaat in Jamaat (congregation). Q.Please assist with the following query:
Can Fardh or Taraweeh Salaah be read behind and aalim or hafiz who is a leader and a public figure who
1. By way of action promotes watching of TV and taking of photography openly.
2. Promotes intermingling.
A. It is haraam for trustees of a Musjid to appoint the type of faasiq/faajir to lead the Salaat. In fact, in view of these scoundrels flagrantly halaalizing categoric haraam acts, they have lost their Imaan. They are no longer Muslims. Therefore Salaat behind these murtaddeen is not valid.
