Question
I sold some saffron to a Maulana inside the Musjid. Later I discovered that it is haram to engage in trade in the Musjid. What should I now do?
Answer
It is not permissible to conduct business transactions inside the Musjid. It is haraam. Taubah and giving the profit as Sadqah to the poor will suffice. The Maulana should know better.
