Is Salaat valid behind an imaam whose trousers is below his ankles? This Imaam leads the Taraaweeh.
Answer
Although the Salaat is valid behind the faasiq imam, those who have appointed him are guilty of committing a kabeerah sin. It is better to perform Taraaweeh elsewhere where the imaam is not a faasiq.
