Some maulanas and sheikhs charge fees for making ta'weez. The prices of the Ta'weez differ. Some cost hundreds of rands. Is this type of business permissible? They quote Hadith to support taking fees.
Answer
The ta'weez business is a money-making haraam racket. The Hadith cited does not justify money-making rackets. People should not seek the ta'weez services of such racketeers.
