Is it permissible to have a rehab institution for females? The head will be a male.
Answer
Rehab institutions for females are permissible as long as Hijaab is strictly maintained. It will not be permissible for the male head to be on the premises at all. He has to be far away from the centre and operate the institution via the aid of a mahram female, e.g. his wife. If a male is on the premises, it is a sure recipe for zina even if he happens to be An Aalim or a Buzrug. Shaitaan and the Nafs will most certainly entrap him. The afflicted females will be easy prey for him.
