Question
An Aalim has recommended a prescription of a zikr by Hajee Abdul Wahaab as a Cure for Cancer. Recite 125 000 times Subhaanallahi wabihamdihi, Subhaanallahil Azeem. In the recording sent around it is mentioned that this is a remedy that many people have benefitted from. My understanding is that it is still in Allah Ta'ala's control whether the person will be cured or not. Can it be said that it is a cure (for sure), would it be ok to be propagated like that?
Answer
For all sicknesses including cancer, adopt the prescription of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) who said that "Surah Faatihah is a cure for every sickness". Recite this Surah many times, make dua and abstain from sin and futility. This is the prescription for gaining cure. Then too if cure is not acquired, then know that it is the Will of Allah Ta'ala which no remedy and no wazeefah can annul.
