In the third raka't, instead of going into Qiyaam, I sat for a brief second or two, then on realizing my mistake I stood up. Was Sajdah Sahw necessary?
Answer
The mistaken sitting of a second or two does not necessitate Sajdah Sahw. Only if you had sat for the duration of reciting 'Subaanallaah' thrice would Sajdah Sahw become incumbent.
