Are the virtues of performing 40 Fardh Salaat in Musjidun Nabawi for both men and women or for only men?
Answer
It is not permissible for women to perform Salaat in the Musjid. They will acquire the same virtues as men obtain when performing in the Musjid. Women will not be deprived of the thawab for performing Salaat in their places of residence. In fact, they will receive greater rewards.
