Question
If the Imaam forgets to recite Qunoot in the third raka‟t of Witr during Ramadhaan, and remembers this omission in Ruku‟, should he return to Qiyaam to recite Qunoot? What should the muqtadis do?
Answer
The Muqtadis have to follow the Imaam into Ruku‟ even if he forgot to recite Qunoot. In this case the Imaam has to make Sajdah Sahw. He should not stand and recite Qunoot after Ruku‟ when he remembers his omission. He should carry on with the Salaat.
