A Mufti had organized a collective Thikr programme. He made thikr over the microphone. Is this permissible?
Answer
Collective thikr is bid'ah. Thikr over the microphone is an aggravating factor to compound the hurmat (prohibition) of the bid'ah thikr. The mufti is a mudhil (one who misleads).
