Question
After having completed my Salaat I was informed that I had faced the wrong direction. Should the Salaat be repeated?
Answer
Your Salaat is valid even if you had erroneously faced the wrong direction. The requisite for validity is that at the time of performing Salaat it should be in the mind that you were facing the Qiblah. There is no need to repeat the Salaat.
