How long are parents responsible for the morals of their children?
Answer
Parents are responsible for the morals of their children even if the latter are adults and married. The responsibility begins from the day the child is born and endures throughout the life of the parents. Whenever the child, be he 50 years old, acts in conflict with the Shariah, it is the obligation of parents to offer naseehat (advice) which will include reprimanding, etc.
