When a person leaves home on a journey, when can he begin Qasr Salaat? Can he perform it before 77 km?
Answer
Qasr Salaat (the Salaat for the traveller) commences immediately when he is outside the city limit / boundary. The condition is that when leaving home, the intention should be to travel 77 km (48 miles) or more.
