Is it permissible to become an accountant? They have to write up interest transactions.
Answer
It is permissible to become an accountant. But it is not permissible for him to be a party to an interest deal. A Muslim accountant may not write the books of non-Muslims in view of all their dealings relating to interest transactions. It will be just like writing the books for a brothel.
