I live in Germany. Some Muslims here say that it is not permissible to keep cats inside the home. Is this correct?
Answer
It is permissible to keep cats in the house. Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Radhiyallahu anhu) has been so named (i.e. The Father of the kitten) because he generally had a kitten with him.
