Question
How should an adult child react when one or both parents become murtad? Can he visit them? What if the child is not yet baaligh?
Answer
If parents become murtad, Nauthubillah, then it is the duty of the children to persuade them to return to Islam. If they refuse, the children should sever their ties and dissociate from such evil parents. The child should not visit nor talk to them. If the nabaaligh child is of intellectual discernment, he/she should also adopt the same stance and sever ties.
