On some calendars and timetables Qur'aanic verses and Ahaadith are printed. Is it permissible to dispose of such material by shredding and recycling?
Answer
If the time tables, etc. have any Qur'aanic aayat or Hadith printed, then shredding and recycling are not permissible. The items should be buried.
