My brother is a flagrant faasiq. He has no beard and he wears shorts exposing his thighs. If he greets me, should I reply with Salaam?
Answer
It is not permissible to greet the shameless faasiq brother. If he asks the reason for not greeting, then explain that it is not permissible to greet a faasiq regardless of his annoyance.
