Whose responsibility is it to take care of my mother?. Am I responsible? She has married sons.
Answer
The responsibility of caring for your mother devolves solely on her sons. It is not your responsibility nor the responsibility of the son-in-law when she has her own sons. But, if the sons are scoundrels refusing to fulfil their duty to their mother, then you and your husband have to take over the obligation. The thawaab is immense.
