A family is poor and struggling to make ends meet. Their son is studying to become an Aalim. Will it be proper for him to abandon his studies to help his parents? Or should he ask for Zakaat?
Answer
Yes, he should abandon his higher Deen academic studies to enable him to work and support his family. He should not beg to support his family whilst he studies.
