Question
A woman is 5 months pregnant. The doctors have diagnosed her with STD. According to them she should abort the foetus because there is a high probability of her life and the baby's life being lost. Is she is allowed to abort the baby?
Answer
Allah Ta'ala says in His Qur'aan Majeed: "No person will die except at the appointed time with the permission of Allah." Life and death are not in the control of the doctors. If the baby dies, it is of no concern to the doctors because they themselves are advising that the baby be murdered by way of satanic abortion. The mother will die at her appointed time. Abortion is HARAAM.
