It has become a trend for Muslims to participate in the youth day commemoration concert which has got nothing to do with Islam. Some argue that its not a religious celebration but a commemoration of fighting against oppression. Is it permissible for Muslims to participate in such events?
Answer
It is never permissible for Muslims to participate in any celebration/function/custom/ festival of the kuffaar regardless of it not being a religious event. Only people whose Imaan dangles on a thread have the temerity of participating in kuffaar celebration and customs. 'Youth day' is Shaitaan's Day.
