I want to start a ladies library in my home. Ladies from the neighbourhood will attend and benefit from the Islamic books. Is this a good idea?

In fact, it is a trap of shaitaan. It is shaitaani deception being presented with a Deeni veneer. Women are not allowed to attend even the Musjid for Salaat. The prohibition will be more emphasized for other acts outside the home. Your home will become a haunt for gheebat and futile conversation. Do not become ensnared by shaitaan.
