Question
The wife when explaining a mas'alah to her husband said that "this is the law of Islam". The husband responded using a vulgar four-lettered word to describe Islam. Is his statement kufr?
Answer
The statement "........Islam" is kufr. In addition to having lost his Imaan, the nikah too is invalid. He has to repent, renew his Shahaadah and his Nikah.
