Are Barelwis Muslims? Is Salaat valid behind a Barelwi?
Answer
Barelwis are people of Bid'ah. They worship the graves of saints and practise many other customs of bid'ah. Although Salaat behind a Barelwi is valid, one should endeavour to perform Jamaat Salaat behind an Imaam who is not a Bid'ati.
