Question
We are only two persons performing Salaat at our workplace. We perform Jamaat, but without Athaan. Is it permissible for us to omit Athaan?
Answer
If there is no Musjid in the vicinity from where the Athaan could be heard, then it is incumbent for you to recite the Athaan. However, the Salaat even without Athaan is valid. But Athaan should not be abandoned.
