Question
The toilet in our home faces the Qiblah. We turn ourselves slightly away from the Qiblah. Will this suffice?
Answer
No, it will not suffice. It is haraam to relieve oneself facing the Qiblah or with one's back to the Qiblah. It is incumbent to change the direction of the toilet. The Deen has priority in our lives. Deen is not of secondary importance.
